Ponchos
A poncho is a piece of clothing that is a blast from the past. Ponchos can be worn for warmth, comfort and style. A poncho is almost like a blanket, with a hole cut in the top for your head to go through. They are often flowy and over-sized, allowing you to move around and have your arms free. Ponchos are available in wool, knits, fleece and more. They can be solids or patterned, with some even being warm enough to be worn in lieu of a jacket. Many ponchos have fringe that lines the bottom which is a fun way to add a bit of attitude to your outfit. When selecting a poncho make sure that the space around the head opening is wide enough (preferably a V-neck). This allows for easy access for pulling on and off without fully ruining your hair and makeup. A poncho looks the best in the fall months, when the weather is becoming cooler. When purchasing a poncho, go with what you like instead of what is on trend. Since it really isn’t about fit, find one in a color or print that you love. Many ponchos are one size, with plus sizes being available. Ponchos are not readily stocked in every store at all seasons, but many hip stores including Billabong and H&M do carry them when in season.
